Registration

1. Register for USAV as an individual player by going to the CHRVA website and registering online. 
Note: You are not officially registered until you have paid.

2. Send me the following information so I can add you to your team’s roster.

  • Full Name
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Street Address, City, State, Zip
  • Date of Birth
  • Year Last Registered with USAV
  • CHRVA Number
  • Preferred Uniform # (and size)

3. Once, I have at least six players finish steps 1 and 2, I can register the team.

Note: The team will need to decide on a team name and who will be the team rep before I send in the registration.

Uniforms

1. Our uniform colors are Carolina blue and black. Steph ordered them. Please be sure to pay her $41.25 for your two jerseys.

2. CHRVA allows all the players to wear different bottoms (so you don’t all have to wear spandex or all wear shorts...they don’t even have to be matching colors). The exception is with long pants - you are not permitted to be “looking like a fool with your pants on the ground.”

Payment

1. The cost of each tournament varies a little, but is normally $170-185. Depending on how many players you bring to the tournament, that’s about $22-26 per player each tournament. Most teams will try to play 2 tournaments per month (approximately 6 or 7 tournaments). 

2. General cost for the season (including uniforms) is approximately $225.

3. In order to register for tournaments, I’ll need to send in payment. Which means the team funds need to be available beforehand. There are two options for sending in your payment. You can either send a check or transfer money via PayPal.

  • You can send a check (made out to Rebecca Waters) at 14100 Wood Rock Way, Centreville, VA 20121; or
  • You can send money via PayPal to rwaters21@aol.com

There is actually a designated team bank account for the money, and you can track your team/personal finances on your team’s web page. Don’t worry, if you put in too much money, you will get it back at the end of the season.

Tournament Availability

1. In order to decide which tournaments you want to register for, you will need to share your availability for any given tournament. If teams are able to get 5 or 6 players and want to play, it is possible that they could “borrow” another player from within the club for a tournament (to make a total of 6 or 7 players).

2. Visit your team’s sign up page to enter your status for each tournament. You can enter an “undo” password so you can go back and change your status at any time.
