What are the points for?

Eligibility for the Regional Championship is determined by two factors: 1) the “30% rule” - you must play in 30% of the tournament weekends (starting from your registration date), and 2) only the top 10 teams, based on points, will be invited to Regionals. Your *average* points per tournament played will determine seeding at Regionals.

The point calculation for a tournament utilizing a six-team or seven-team round robin format will be 5 pts to the first place team, 3 pts to the second place team, and 1 pt to the third place team.

The point calculation for a Half-Day Tournament will be 5 pts to the first place team, 3 pts to the second place team, and 1 pt to each of the third and fourth place teams.

Teams which draw a bye for any play-off round will be awarded the number of points they would have received if they had won that round.

The loser of a one-game play-off match for a last play-off position will be awarded 1 pt.
